Quickstep Study #4 acrylic on paper, 10" x 14", 2010 The Quickstep is that most English of English dances. Bold, springy, energetic, the Quickstep explodes from the corners like a rocket. It flies across the floor at break-neck speed only to find a corner again where it can hover and play. This dance borrows steps for Foxtrot, Charleston, Lindy, Jive and all other relatives of Swing.
